Pots carnation breeding since 1980. With a long history in cut carnations, Barberet & Blanc (Spain) started to promote Dianthus as a pot plant in 1983. Ten years later, Dümmen Orange has its active pot carnation breeding program. Barberet & Blanc helped to develop our current pot carnation CARNELIA portfolio by sharing their wealth of knowledge as a family business with such a rich history. The tradition of Dianthus breeding is still sustained in Spain and is being enriched with global breeding knowledge in combination with other crops.
